How long is the Luxembourg EU Blue Card valid?

Your first EU Blue Card in Luxembourg is issued for up to four years, or for the duration of your employment contract plus three months where the contract is shorter than four years. The same logic applies at renewal.

To renew, you typically must show that you actually worked during the card's validity and continue to meet the conditions. Renewal documents commonly include a current contract, recent pay slips, social-security proof and a criminal-record extract.
