You generally need to maintain accommodation, sufficient income or means, and health insurance, and keep your absences within the allowed limits.
Although EU long-term residence is a stable status, it is not unconditional. At renewal you are typically expected to show continued accommodation in Slovakia, sufficient income or financial means to support yourself, and valid health insurance.
You must also have stayed within the permitted limits on absences from Slovakia and from the EU. Keep documentation of your address, income and insurance up to date, and apply to renew in good time so there is no break in your legal residence.
