The UWI Fund is designed for larger families: it is available to applications comprising a family of six or more people.
A family of six contributes US$260,000 (inclusive of processing fees). Larger families pay the same base contribution plus an additional per-dependant fee for each person beyond six.
Choosing the UWI Fund entitles one member of the family to a one-year, tuition-only scholarship at the University of the West Indies.
You cannot use the UWI Fund with fewer than six people; you would instead apply through the National Development Fund, real estate, or business investment option.
The whole qualifying family of six or more receives citizenship; the one-year UWI scholarship is an extra benefit given to a single family member.
