The Nomad Residence Permit is aimed at remote workers who can support themselves from foreign earnings. For applications submitted on or after 1 April 2024, the minimum gross annual income required is EUR 42,000. Applicants who applied earlier were assessed against a lower figure of EUR 32,400.
You will be asked to evidence this income, so keep recent contracts, pay records and bank statements ready. Because thresholds can be revised, confirm the current figure with your licensed agent before you apply.
