Can my spouse and children join me while I work in Croatia?

Holding a Croatian stay and work permit does not automatically grant status to your family, but your spouse and children can apply for temporary stay on the basis of family reunification once you are legally resident.

The rules also note that certain people, such as family members of Croatian citizens, may work without needing their own stay and work permit or work registration certificate. Eligibility, financial means and accommodation requirements vary by category, so each family member's situation should be checked against the current Aliens Act conditions before they travel.
