Multi-year permit holders must periodically prove enrolment, exam participation, and progress; failing to do so can result in the permit being withdrawn.
A multi-year student permit is conditional on genuine, ongoing study. Every two years you must submit an enrolment certificate, a certificate of participation in examinations, and an updated transcript to show you are progressing.
If you stop attending or cannot provide this evidence, the permit can be withdrawn. A common mistake is treating the multi-year permit as automatic; in reality you must keep demonstrating active study to retain it.
