
Yes. You must show stable and sufficient resources, broadly at least the SMIC, and provide proof of health insurance coverage.
Financial stability and health cover are required. Your monthly resources must meet or exceed the SMIC level, drawn from your own income sources. Family allowances, housing aid, RSA and disability payments are excluded from the calculation, though those with severe disability (AAH) or the ASI may be exempt from proving resources.
You must also provide proof of active health insurance (assurance maladie). Gather recent income statements and your insurance proof before applying, as gaps in either are a common cause of refusal or delay.
