You need a recognized higher education qualification and a job contract of at least one year with a Croatian employer for a highly qualified role.
The EU Blue Card is aimed at highly qualified workers. The central requirement is a diploma, certificate or other proof of formal qualifications from a higher education institution that is recognized in your home country, matched to a genuinely high-skilled position.
On top of the qualification, you must hold an employment contract of at least one year with an employer registered in Croatia, and the role must be performed for and under the direction of that employer. If the job falls under a regulated profession, you also have to meet the conditions set for that profession under the relevant legislation.
