Third-country nationals who intend to carry out business activity in Slovakia, such as running a company or being self-employed, can apply for business temporary residence.
Temporary residence for business in Slovakia is intended for non-EU nationals who plan to conduct a genuine business activity in the country, for example as a company director or a self-employed person.
You must show that the business is real and viable rather than a formality created only to obtain residence. Because the conditions are set out in the Act on Residence of Aliens, confirm that your planned activity fits the business category before you apply, and gather evidence that supports the seriousness of your venture.
