You must have lived in Switzerland for at least ten years, three of which fall within the five years before you apply, and hold a permanent C residence permit.
Ordinary naturalisation is the main route for foreign nationals without a Swiss spouse or parent. The headline requirement is ten years of residence in Switzerland, with the additional condition that three of those years are within the last five before filing.
You must also hold a settlement (C) permit at the time of application. Time spent in Switzerland between the ages of 8 and 18 counts double, but you must in any case have actually lived in the country for at least six years.
