How long is the Czech permanent residence permit valid?

Permanent residence in the Czech Republic is, by its nature, not limited in time. What does expire is the physical residence card, which is issued for 10 years for adults.

For children under 15 the card is issued for 5 years. When the card expires you renew the document, but the underlying permanent residence status continues, provided you keep meeting the conditions for holding it.
