Identity and relationship evidence (birth certificate), proof of the sponsor's status, dependency evidence for older children, and health and character documents.
A subclass 101 application typically requires evidence of the child's identity and the parent-child relationship, such as a birth certificate, plus evidence that the sponsoring parent is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
For a child aged 18 or over, you also need evidence of ongoing dependency. Where another parent or guardian exists, consent to the child migrating may be required. The child must also meet health and character requirements, which usually means health examinations and, for older children, police checks.
