Can family members who reunify in Croatia eventually get permanent stay?

Family reunification is a recognized path toward permanent status in Croatia. Spouses and life partners can become eligible for permanent stay after four uninterrupted years of temporary stay held for family reunification.

There is a faster route for certain minor children: three years of temporary stay for family reunification with a parent who holds permanent or long-term status can be enough. Both routes require you to maintain continuous, lawful residence and avoid long absences that break the qualifying period.
