Can my partner and children come with me on a 485 visa?

The subclass 485 visa allows you to include members of your family unit, such as a spouse or de facto partner and dependent children. They can be included in your application or, in some cases, apply to join you later as subsequent entrants.

If your family joins you on this visa, their visa stays valid for as long as your visa is valid. You will usually need to show you can support them and that they meet health and character requirements.
