Not freely. A third-country work permit is tied to a specific employer, job and canton, so changing employer normally needs a new authorisation that meets the same conditions.
Unlike EU/EFTA nationals, third-country workers do not have free movement in the labour market. The L or B work permit is granted for a specific job with a specific employer in a specific canton, and the admission was approved on the basis of that role meeting the precedence, qualification and wage conditions. Changing employer or taking a materially different job normally requires a fresh authorisation that again satisfies those conditions. Always seek approval from the cantonal authorities before switching jobs.
