It can be refused if the RVO gives a negative assessment of your innovation, business plan or facilitator, or if KvK registration is missing.
Yes. You must work with a recognised facilitator from the RVO's approved list under a signed agreement, and that facilitator cannot hold a majority interest in your company.
You must show sufficient means, either through your own funds in a Dutch bank account or by having your facilitator finance your stay for the year.
Your business must be genuinely innovative, for example a product or service new to the Netherlands, a new technology, or a new way of organising or producing.
The start-up permit is valid for a maximum of one year. After that you can move to the self-employed permit if your business meets its requirements.
