You can stay for up to 5 years per entry, and you can apply to extend your stay by up to an additional 2 years while in Canada.
The Super Visa is more generous than a standard visitor visa for length of stay. Each time you enter Canada, you may be allowed to stay for up to 5 years without having to renew your status.
If you want to stay longer, you can either leave Canada and re-enter, or apply from within Canada to extend your stay for up to 2 more years. This makes the Super Visa well suited to long visits with family.
