Can I work for a Hungarian company while holding a White Card?

The White Card is strictly for people who earn their income from outside Hungary. You may not work for, or on behalf of, a Hungarian employer, and you may not acquire a stake in a Hungarian company.

If you breach these rules, the authorities will withdraw your residence permit. If your plans change toward local employment or a Hungarian business, you would need to switch to an entirely different and appropriate permit type instead.
