What health and character conditions apply to the ETA (subclass 601)?

Even though the ETA is a streamlined visitor authority, you still need to meet health and character requirements.

On the health side, you must be free from tuberculosis. On the character side, you must not have any criminal conviction, or convictions, for which you have been sentenced to a total combined period of 12 months or more.
