Which nationalities can use Hungary's employment residence permit?

Hungary restricts the residence permit for the purpose of employment to nationals of countries that have a readmission agreement or relevant official organisational presence with Hungary.

Under current rules this means the route is effectively open to nationals of Georgia, Armenia and the Philippines. Applicants from other countries generally need to look at a different work route, such as the EU Blue Card for highly qualified roles.
