Australia permits dual citizenship, but whether you keep your other citizenship depends on the laws of that country.
Australia allows its citizens to hold the citizenship of another country, so becoming an Australian citizen does not, by itself, require you to give up your existing nationality.
However, some other countries do not allow dual citizenship and may withdraw your original citizenship when you naturalise elsewhere. You should check the rules of your country of origin before applying, as Australia cannot control whether another country lets you keep its citizenship.
