You generally cannot switch from inside the UK; you usually need to apply for a different visa, such as Skilled Worker, from outside the UK.
The Youth Mobility Scheme is a temporary route and does not lead to settlement, and in most cases you cannot switch directly into another visa category while staying in the UK.
If you want to remain longer, for example by moving onto a Skilled Worker visa with an employer who can sponsor you, you will usually need to leave the UK and apply for the new visa from outside the country. Plan any move well before your 24 months end so you do not overstay.
