Your initial grant is usually for 3 years. To extend, an endorsing body must reassess your business or business idea, and you must still be running a UK business or want to set up a new one.

There is no cap on the number of extensions, so the route can be renewed indefinitely as long as you continue to meet the criteria. Apply before your current permission expires; you can apply from inside or outside the UK if you have held the visa within the last year.
