The Digital Nomad residence permit is granted for an initial period of one year. You can then apply to renew it for an additional period of up to two years, giving a typical maximum of three years on this status.
There is also an overall cap on how many digital nomad permits Cyprus issues at any time (commonly cited as 500), so it is worth applying and renewing in good time. To renew, you will need to show that you still meet the income and remote-work conditions.
