What do I do if I get a job offer while on the Norway job seeker permit?

If you receive a relevant job offer, you do not start from scratch. You can change your job seeker application or status into an application for a residence permit as a skilled worker.

If the offer comes before your job seeker application has even been processed, you may be able to convert it to the skilled-worker application without an additional fee. The key is that the job must meet the skilled-worker requirements, including the qualifications and pay conditions UDI sets.
