You can only start working once your studies begin, and you must stop if you no longer meet the conditions, for example if you stop studying full-time.
You cannot work in Canada before your study program starts, even if you arrive early or already have a SIN. Your right to work off campus begins on the first day of your studies, assuming you meet all eligibility conditions.
You must stop working if you no longer meet the conditions, such as if you change to part-time status (outside of your final session), take an unauthorized leave, or your study permit expires. Working when you are not authorized can end your student status and harm future applications.
