The most common problem is a company that exists only on paper, with no real activity, staff, or ability to support the applicant.
Applications are frequently refused when the business looks like a formality created only to obtain a permit rather than a genuine operating enterprise. The Migration Department checks whether the company actually trades, has substance, and can sustain the applicant.
Other common issues include not meeting the minimum operating period, weak proof of sufficient income to live in Lithuania, and incomplete or inconsistent documents. Building a real business with demonstrable activity, and preparing complete financial evidence, gives the strongest application.
