What does my child need to apply, including parental consent?

A Child Student application centres on the school's sponsorship. The child needs a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed Child Student sponsor and must apply within six months of receiving it.

Because the applicant is a minor, you must also prove that the parent or legal guardian consents to the child studying and living in the UK, and show appropriate arrangements for the child's care, accommodation and travel. Missing consent or care evidence is a common reason these applications run into problems.
