You can work for your sponsor in your specified role, study, and do unpaid voluntary work. You cannot change jobs without updating your visa, take a second job, or claim most public funds.
Your permission is tied to the sponsored role under the trade agreement, so you must stick to the job described on your Certificate of Sponsorship. You are free to study and to volunteer for registered charities or statutory bodies alongside that role.
Prohibited activities include taking a second paid job, changing employer or job without updating your visa, and accessing most benefits, public funds, or the State Pension. You will normally pay the immigration health surcharge, giving you access to NHS care during your stay.
