The ICT Card is a temporary transfer permit tied to a fixed assignment; it is not in itself a permanent residence status, and any move toward settlement would follow separate rules.
The ICT Card is designed for time-limited corporate transfers rather than open-ended settlement. It distinguishes between short-term mobility of up to 90 days and longer transfers handled under a Mobile ICT Card, but in all cases it is built around a defined assignment.
The official material on the ICT Card does not present it as a direct route to permanent residence. If you wish to remain in Germany long term, you would typically need to look at switching to another residence title or meeting the separate requirements for a settlement permit. Plan ahead with your employer if staying on is your goal.
