Family members cannot generally join an Opportunity Card holder during the search phase, unless your spouse independently qualifies for their own Opportunity Card; spouses can usually join only after you secure qualified employment.
Because the Opportunity Card is a time-limited job-search status, it does not normally allow family members to come along during the search. The exception is where your spouse independently meets the requirements for their own Opportunity Card, in which case you can apply together and arrive at the same time.
Once you have taken up qualified employment and your residence is secured through a work-based permit, you can then apply for your spouse to join you through family reunification. In short, plan for the search phase to be solo unless both partners qualify on their own.
