France's business and investment options sit within the Talent card: a Business Creation & Investment sub-category covering entrepreneurs, holders of a recognised innovative project, and direct economic investors, each with its own financing or investment threshold.
France channels business and investment migration through the Talent card rather than a separate scheme. The Talent — Business Creation & Investment sub-category has three main strands. Business creation is for entrepreneurs with a master's degree or five years' experience, a serious project, and minimum project financing. The innovative-project strand requires recognition of your project by the Ministry of the Economy. The direct-investment strand requires a qualifying direct economic investment with a commitment to create or preserve jobs. Across all three you must show sufficient personal resources.
Like other Talent cards, this route carries no labour-market test, is valid for up to four years, and gives your family a Talent — famille card with work rights. The application fee is EUR 350 (EUR 300 tax plus a EUR 50 stamp).
Each strand has its own financing or investment threshold, and the innovative-project route in particular hinges on ministerial recognition, so it pays to scope your project carefully before applying. Confirm the current thresholds on service-public.gouv.fr, and ACME can help you identify which business or investment strand best matches your plans for France.
