Changing employer is possible but is not automatic -- your permit is tied to a specific employer and job, so a change usually requires notifying or reapplying with the Migration Department.
Employment-based temporary residence permits in Lithuania are linked to the employer and role stated in your application. If you want to move to a different employer, you generally cannot simply start the new job; the change must be reflected in your permit.
Depending on the situation this may mean amending your permit, obtaining a new labour-market decision, or applying afresh. Starting work for a new employer without updating your status can put your permit at risk, so always clear the change with the Migration Department first.
