Yes. While searching for a job you may work part-time up to 20 hours per week, and you may also take a trial job of up to two weeks with a potential employer.
The Opportunity Card is not a no-work visa. To help you support yourself during the search, you are allowed to take part-time employment of up to 20 hours per week.
In addition, you can do a trial job (Probebeschaeftigung) of up to two weeks with an employer who might want to hire you, which is a useful way to demonstrate your skills. These work rights are meant to bridge the gap while you look for qualified, full-time employment that can support a longer-term residence permit; they are not a substitute for finding that qualified job.
