What happens to my Croatian study permit if I stop studying?

A study permit depends on you remaining a genuine student. If you stop being enrolled, spend too long outside Croatia, or otherwise breach the permit conditions, the temporary stay can be withdrawn.

If you want to remain in Croatia for a different reason, be aware that there is a waiting period of six months from the expiry of a temporary stay before you can apply again in the catch-all other-purposes category. Plan any change of status carefully and ideally before your study permit lapses.
