Students may work up to 20 hours per week (or the equivalent in days or months over the year) alongside their studies.
Temporary residence for the purpose of study allows limited work so students can support themselves without their job overtaking their studies. The cap is generally up to 20 hours per week, expressed as a corresponding number of days or months across the year.
This lets you take part-time work during your course. Because the residence is granted for study, employment is a secondary activity, so keep within the limit and make sure your enrolment stays valid, since your right to be in Slovakia depends on continuing your studies.
