How many hours can I work on a Hungary Student Residence Permit?

While your studies are in session you may work a maximum of thirty hours per week. During periods outside the academic term, such as official holidays, you may work full time for up to 90 days in the year.

These limits are conditions of the permit, so exceeding them can jeopardise your status. Keep records of your hours and confirm your institution's term dates so you know when the higher break-time allowance applies.
