What are the requirements to qualify as an EB-4 special immigrant religious worker?

The religious worker subcategory of EB-4 covers ministers and certain non-minister workers in religious vocations and occupations who will work in a full-time compensated position. To qualify, you generally must have been a member of a religious denomination that has a bona fide non-profit religious organization in the United States for at least the two years before the I-360 is filed.

You must also have been working continuously in a qualifying religious capacity for the two years immediately before the petition, and you must seek to enter the U.S. solely to carry on the religious work of your employer's denomination. Note that the non-minister religious worker program is subject to a sunset date set by Congress, so applicants in that group should pay close attention to the current expiration of the program.
