What can I do once I get the permanent offshore Partner visa (subclass 100)?

The subclass 100 is the permanent stage of the offshore partner pathway. You become a permanent resident on the day it is granted, in addition to everything you could already do on the subclass 309.

You can live, work and study in Australia indefinitely, access Medicare, and sponsor eligible family members to come to Australia. You can travel to and from Australia for 5 years from grant while the travel facility is valid; after that you need a Resident Return visa to re-enter as a permanent resident. After meeting the residence requirements you may apply for Australian citizenship.
