What documents do I need for a Hungary Researcher Residence Permit application?

At minimum you will need the signed hosting agreement with your accredited research organisation, a valid travel document, evidence that you can support yourself financially, and health insurance covering your stay. You will also provide a confirmed accommodation address in Hungary.

If your project involves mobility to another EU country, a mobility plan with dates and duration may also be required. Gather originals and any officially translated copies early, as missing or mismatched documents are the most common cause of delay.
