Can I include my partner and children in my Protection visa application?

Members of your immediate family who are in Australia can usually be included in your subclass 866 application as part of the same household claim. This commonly covers a spouse or de facto partner and dependent children.

Each included family member must satisfy health, character and security checks. If a family member is overseas, they generally cannot be added to an onshore Protection visa application and a separate process may be needed later.
