Can I extend or renew my Working Holiday Authorisation or bring family with me?

The Working Holiday Authorisation is intended as a single, fixed-period opportunity for the individual participant to travel and work in Ireland. It is not structured as a renewable long-term permission.

It is also not a family route; it does not provide for dependent family members to join you under the same authorisation. If you want to stay longer or move into work or study, you would generally need to qualify for, and switch to, a different and appropriate immigration permission before your authorisation expires.
