Once granted, what can I do on the Parent visa (subclass 103)?

The subclass 103 is a permanent visa, so once granted you can stay in Australia indefinitely. You can work and study, enrol in Medicare, and sponsor eligible family members to come to Australia.

You can travel to and from Australia for 5 years from the date of grant while the travel facility is valid; after that you need a Resident Return visa to re-enter as a permanent resident. If eligible, you may attend free English classes through the Adult Migrant English Program and, after meeting the residence requirements, apply for Australian citizenship. Newly arrived residents may have to wait before accessing certain government payments.
