You must have an acceptance letter from a participating designated learning institution outside Quebec that confirms you are applying under the pilot, and you must be living outside Canada when you apply.
The pilot only works with specific participating designated learning institutions (DLIs) located in Francophone minority communities outside Quebec. Your letter of acceptance must come from one of these institutions and must state that you are applying under the Francophone Minority Communities Student Pilot.
You also have to be physically outside Canada at the time you apply. A common mistake is to assume any Canadian school or an in-Canada application qualifies. Confirm your institution is on the participating list, get the correct wording on your acceptance letter, and apply from outside Canada.
