The Seasonal Worker visa is strictly time-limited and tied to the type of work. For edible and ornamental horticulture, the visa allows up to six months in the UK.

For poultry work, the route operates over a defined autumn-to-winter window each year, with permission ending by 31 December. You can usually enter the UK up to 14 days before your start date. Because it is short-term by design, it cannot be used to build a long stay.
