Can I still apply for the Skilled-Recognised Graduate visa (subclass 476)?

The Skilled-Recognised Graduate visa (subclass 476) is no longer open to new applicants. A cap was placed on it in December 2023 and it was permanently closed to new applications from 1 July 2024.

If you are a recent engineering graduate who wanted to use this visa to gain Australian work experience, you now need to look at alternatives such as the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) or employer-sponsored options. Anyone who was already granted a 476 keeps the visa under its existing conditions until it expires.
