Migrationsverket requires proof that you can support yourself for the whole period without working. The benchmark is bank assets equivalent to at least SEK 13,000 for each month you are granted, so a longer permit requires more savings.

On top of living costs, you must also be able to cover the cost of your return journey home. These funds must be your own and documented, typically through bank statements.
