You need a job offer matching your qualification level paid in line with the relevant collective agreement, but no labour market test is required for graduates.
To convert to the Graduates Red-White-Red Card, you must hold a work contract from a specified employer for a position that corresponds to your level of education. The pay must be commensurate with your qualifications and at least in line with the applicable collective agreement.
Importantly, graduates of Austrian institutions are exempt from the labour market test, so there is no check on whether a registered jobseeker could fill the role. This is a significant advantage compared with some other Red-White-Red Card categories.
