It can be withdrawn if the grounds for issuance significantly change, the underlying family relationship dissolves, you leave Hungary for more than six months, you provided false information, you become a security threat, or an expulsion order is issued.
Even though the National Residence Card represents permanent status, it is not unconditional. The authorities can withdraw it if the circumstances that justified it change significantly or if the family relationship it was based on ends.
Other withdrawal grounds include an absence from Hungary of more than six months, false information given in the application, the emergence of a public or national security concern, or the issuance of an expulsion order.
