Because you are not employed during this permit, you are not automatically covered by the Swedish system, so private health insurance is required. It must be valid in Sweden for the full length of your stay.
The cover has to include urgent and other medical care, hospitalisation, and emergency dental care, as well as costs for medical repatriation. You provide documentation of this insurance with your application.
